Harrell is one of my favorite shops in town. They have amazing customer service and actually care about and talk you through any issues or questions you have. They don't rack up the prices for people who seem naive like a lot of shops in the Erie area, and they' get the job done in a timely matter which is also hard to come by. Another great thing is their waiting is really clean which is pretty rare for a shop. Over all a great shop awesome prices and super nice and cool employees! Seriously, if you're a girl who's afraid of getting your prices racked up just because you don't know a lot about cars they aren't shysters about their prices, you don't have to be uncomfortable or hesitant about their quotes!

We were recently out of town and our vehicle was stalling out. We took it to a repair shop and they indicated it was a fuel sensor. We had it replaced and left the area. The problem continued.. Upon returning home and I contacted Harrell Automotive. They had me drop the vehicle off and quickly diagnosed and replaced the fuel pump. The vehicle is running better than ever. We thank the staff and the technician for their hard work and dedication.

It's a struggle to find an automotive service shop that you can have complete faith in not only the repair, but trust in the knowledge and and service orientation of every member of the company. Harrell's has this in spades. After too many poor experiences with other independently owned shops and dealerships alike, I'll never have my vehicles serviced anywhere else. (To date, they've serviced my '12, '16, '17 Jeep Wranglers, '11 Hyandai Sonata, '10 Mazda 3, '04 SVT Cobra, '98 Ford Expedition, '08 Ford Edge, '05 GMC Envoy, and a few others. ZERO complaints!)

Showed up to an 8 am appointment and the doors were locked and the mechanic outside told me that _____ had overslept but he was on his way, I waited for about 45 min before he showed up. I expected some sort of discount on my oil change for the long wait since the guy slept in (it wasn't like he got into an accident or something like that) or at least a very sincere apology but I didn't get either. I got a small apology without any concern or consideration for my wasted time in my busy schedule (he laughed and smiled the whole time acting like it was no big deal that I waited 45 minutes because he slept in and also locked his keys inside the night before so someone else had to be called to get in). They are nice people and I went to them after I moved to Erie because they seemed to have the best reviews but after this (my second visit to them) I don't think they will be getting my business anymore. I expected much more from them. UPDATE! The owner contacted me immediately after hearing of my inconvenience and made the situation right. Very happy with his quick contact with me and the lengths he went to to make up for the situation. Very nice guy and very apologetic. Would recommend them to anyone.

My car was having an idling issue but wasn't generating any fault codes and passed all tests when it was at the dealer. One of those frustrating issues to be sure because the car was not providing any help. Anyway, it was bugging me because I knew something was amiss, so I decided to give Harrell Automotive a try. This was my first experience with the folks there, and being one of those people who is very particular (understatement) about maintaining my car (2008 BMW 335xi) it is safe to say I was more than a bit nervous. But they both found and fixed the culprit along with performing a number of other preventative maintenance measures which I requested. The overall experience was very positive and the attention to detail on the actual work was excellent. In fact I'm going to schedule a couple of other items for them to do in the next couple of weeks. It's always good to have options, especially in a small market such as Erie, and now I have two excellent places to take my car for service.
