I purchased a good car at a decent price. There were a few things they failed to disclose and i can say that im certain the mechanic who gave it an inspection did not properly do so. This was most evident by a missing/broken turn signal light that was hanging inside the hood of the car rather then being mounted in its bracket. I chose 4 stars because it is a good running car, but given the amount of minor issues i feel the price should have been better. That said the staff there were amazingly helpful and i would not say im not upset with my purchase.

THANK YOU!!!! My car broke down 18 miles east on I-90 on a cold wintry afternoon, which lead to an oil pump failure and ultimately loss of compression on a 2007 Passat diesel engine. Time was running out as I frantically searched for a local mechanic who knew how to work with diesel engines. I want to personally thank the team at Harrell Automotive, Paul, Joel and Jim for their hard work and professionalism. This was not an easy job as they had to replace the motor. Their workmanship was excellent, and it was done for a very good price. Even though I had bad luck in having to replace an engine, it all changed when Harrell Automotive took care of things for me. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP, AND AGAIN, THANK YOU!!

We broke down while on our first day of a 10 day vacation while traveling through Erie. Paul met us at a gas station. Got us to the shop. Diagnosed a busted radiator. Within 4 hours he found an after market radiator, double teamed the mechanics, and got us back on the road so we could make our reservations in Cleveland. We really appreciated the great service and effort.

Overall good experience with Harrell Automotive. They got my truck back on the road and running like it should in a relatively timely manner. Their communication was good and kept me up to date on the status of the diagnosis and repair. Only reason for leaving 4 stars is due to a scrape found on my tow hook and a scuff on the bumper after getting the truck back from it's repair - shows some slight negligence on their part. Nothing to make a huge fuss over but certainly worth mentioning.
